4 Days Tsavo West, Amboseli and Tsavo East Kenya Tour from Mombasa

Explore Kenya's wilderness on a 4-day tour from Mombasa to Tsavo West, Amboseli, and Tsavo East. Enjoy thrilling game drives, stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and comfortable safari lodges.

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park

The safari adventure will begin with a convenient pick-up from your beach hotel or resort. As we embark on our journey along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque scenery and make occasional stops for stretching and taking in the surroundings.

Upon entering the Tsavo West gate, the real excitement begins as we start our safari game drive, eagerly searching for the diverse wildlife that calls Tsavo West home. Throughout the drive, we will be treated to stunning views of the landscape, including rolling hills, expansive grassy savannahs, intriguing volcanic lava beds, and verdant oases.

After a delicious lunch, our adventure will continue as we make our way to a special site within the park – the 90 sq. km rhino sanctuary. This protected sanctuary provides a safe haven for over 80 endangered nocturnal creatures. With a bit of luck and keen observation, we might even be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of one of the magnificent yet elusive rhinos that call this sanctuary home.

Day 2: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park

Early in the morning, we will embark on an adventure to explore two breathtaking national parks! Following a delightful breakfast, our first stop will be Mzima Springs, a sanctuary where a diverse array of life thrives in the nourishing waters – from exotic fish and birds to majestic hippos and crocodiles.

As we make our way to Amboseli, our next park, keep an eye out for the awe-inspiring sight of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the horizon, the largest peak in Africa. Its grand presence serves as a magnificent backdrop to Amboseli, enhancing the beauty of the reserve’s wildlife.

After a satisfying lunch, we will spend a leisurely afternoon observing the park’s abundant wildlife. Thanks to the park’s smaller size, spotting game becomes easier. However, the highlight of the day will undoubtedly be the opportunity to witness the magnificent elephants that roam the area. Amboseli is renowned for offering the best sightings of free-ranging herds majestically parading with their impressive tusks.

As evening approaches, keep an eye out for the possibility of the cloud cover unveiling Kilimanjaro’s snowy peak, treating us to one of Africa’s most spectacular treasures.

Following our meal, we will journey to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest park, with a thrilling exit game drive. As we return to the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, we will keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife that inhabits this region.

Upon entering the park, we will eagerly search for the impressive big hunters and grazers, specifically the “red-dust” elephants known for their tendency to roll in the red oxide soil, giving them a striking rusty hue.

Following a leisurely afternoon, we will set out for an afternoon game drive to further explore the wonders of Tsavo East National Park.

Day 4: Tsavo East National Park to ombasa

Dawn finds us ready for our early morning and final safari game viewing drive.

After breakfast will check out of our hotel.

We shall still have some time to explore vastness of Tsavo East National Park in a relaxed game viewing drive as we exit the park.
